Welcome Weeks for first year students

You are starting your first semester at the University of Graz and don't know your way around yet? Take part in the Welcome Weeks!

The Welcome Weeks for the summer semester 2025 start at the beginning of February with online info sessions and end with events on campus from February 24 - 28.

From February 4, our online UGO workshops and info sessions will show you how to register for courses and what you need to know as a first-year student. From February 24, you will have the chance to explore the campus and get to know your first fellow students!

Better safe than sorry. There are a lot of new things coming your way and we're here to help! With online info sessions and lectures on campus, you can get in the perfect mood for the start of your studies.

How do I register for courses?

Check out our UniGrazOnline workshops!

In this online lesson, we will show you the best way to proceed and find your way around UniGrazOnline! We will go through the most important clicks with you and answer all your questions about the course registration.

The 4students team will answer all your questions about studying and the University of Graz at the info breakfast for first semester students on Wednesday, 26 February at 9:30am in Meerscheinschlössl (Mozartgasse 3).

Tip: After the info breakfast, you can directly join the campus tour!

UniGraz@Museum

Discover the largest digital book, the longest wave machine and objects that illustrate the development of physics research during the guided tour through the UniGraz@Museum on Friday, February 28 at 10am.

The meeting point is directly at the UniGraz@Museum in the basement of the main building at Universitätsplatz 3 - access via the inner courtyard.
